Design Characteristics
Heated desiccant air dryer bases on the adsorptive theory of pressure swing, makes full use of the special desiccant character of adsorbing under pressure, low temperature and regenerating under low pressure, high temperature, which increase adsorption quantity of desiccant within unit quality to further dry the compressed air. The mode of external heat regeneration reduced purge air consumption and finally save energy.
- -20°C to -40°C consistent pressure dew point output, ensures unit running normally all the year round. When mutually switching towers, there is no heat peak or dew point peak.
- 30% extra desiccant provided to compensate for natural bed aging to ensure top performance of dryer during the desiccant bed life, allow saturated compressed air at the dryer inlet to be dried to the required drew point.
- Large flow diffusers ensure flow distribution through the bed and eliminate channelling.
- Cleanable stainless steel flow diffusers, support screens and separate fill and drain ports for ease of desiccant replacement.
